Tofu Burger recipe - How to make Tofu Burger

Preparation Time:    Cooking Time:    Total Time:    Makes 4 serving

Ingredients

1/2 cup soy sauce
1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
300 gms dry tofu
2 tbsp olive oil

Method
    Method
  1. Mix soy sauce and vinegar in the saucepan and heat 5-7 minutes over low heat, whisking occasionally, until thickened.
  2. Meanwhile, drain the tofu and pat dry, then slice into equal pieces, about 1 inch thick.
  3. Pour some of the marinade into the bowl, add tofu in a single layer, then pour the rest of the marinade on top. Let sit for 5 minutes, turn, and leave another 10.
  4. Grill: preheat to medium.
  5. Cook tofu burgers 2 minutes, flip, and repeat.
  6. Frying pan: heat olive oil over medium heat. Cook burgers 2-3 minutes, flip, and repeat.
  7. Serve immediately.
