Enjoy the spicy tangy taste of Tomato Chutney prepared quite easily by simply blending together fresh chopped tomatoes with garlic, ginger, salt and red chilli powder.

2 big sized tomatoes
1 tsp roasted cumin seeds (jeera)
1 tsp coriander (dhania) seeds , dry roasted
1 tsp sesame seeds (til), dry roasted
1 pinch of asafoetida (hing)
3 green chillies
1 pinch of turmeric powder (haldi)
salt to taste
small piece of tamarind (imli)
2 to 3 stalks of coriander (dhania)
1/2 tsp oil
Method
- Fitst take the 1/2 tsp oil in a pan and add the cut tomatoes and cook till soft then cool it
- Put it in the mixer along with the other ingredients.
- Grind to a smooth paste.and serve it with rice and ghee.
