Makes 2 to 4 servings
1/2 cup moong dal (split green gram)
3 tbsp ghee
1 tbsp cumin seeds (jeera)
2 tsp ginger-green chilli paste
salt to taste
Method
- Method
- Cook the moong dal with sufficient water and keep aside.
- Heat the ghee in a pan and add the cumin seeds.
- When the seeds crackle, add the ginger-green chilli paste and saute for few seconds.
- Pour this tempering to the dal, add the salt along with 1/2 cup water and mix well.
- Serve hot.
