Assorted bhajias batter is a versatile batter prepared from mixing the gram flour or besan with a variety of chopped vegetables and bread slices. Pour a spoonful of the batter into hot oil and enjoy as evening snack with chutney or sauce.
Assorted Bhajias Batter recipe - How to make Assorted Bhajias Batter

1 cup besan (Bengal gram flour)
2 bread slices
1 tbsp very hot oil
few carom seeds (ajwain)
1/4 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
finely chopped green chillies as desired
salt to taste
chopped mixed vegetables (Carrots, gourds, cabbage, spinach, onions, babycorn, corn, methi, beetroot, radish)
Method
- Make sure to press out all excess water from prepared veggie, before adding to batter.
- Mix all the ingredients except bread
- Bread must be moistened and crushed into the batter just before making bhajjias.
- Add required water to make batter for bhajias
