Bhel recipe - How to make Bhel
Preparation Time: Cooking Time: Total Time:
2 cups puffed rice (kurmura)
1/4 cup assorted farsan
1/4 cup fine bhel sev
8 to 10 unpuffed puris
1 onion, finely chopped
1 tomato, finely chopped
1 small boiled potato, chopped
1 tsp chopped coriander (dhania)
1 tbsp Sweet Chutney
1 tsp Green Chutney
1/2 tsp crushed cumin seeds (jeera)
salt to taste
Method
- Keep aside half the sev and two puris.
- Crush remaining puris coarsely.
- Put all other ingredients in a large deep bowl.
- Toss with hand till well blended.
- Put in individual serving bowls or a large dish.
- Sprinkle remaining sev to garnish.
- Top with the two whole puris.
- Serve immediately, and do not allow to get soggy.
