Makes 4 wraps
For The Roti
1 cup rice flour (chawal ka atta)
1 1/2 tsp oil
salt to taste
rice flour (chawal ka atta) for rolling
For The Chatpata Rajma Filling
1 cup soaked and boiled rajma (kidney beans) , lightly mashed
1 tbsp oil
2 tsp finely chopped ginger (adrak)
2 tsp finely chopped garlic (lehsun)
1 cup finely chopped onions
1 1/2 cups finely chopped tomatoes
1/2 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
2 tsp chilli powder
1 tbsp coriander (dhania) powder
1/2 cup fresh curds (dahi)
2 tbsp chopped coriander (dhania)
salt to taste
To Be Mixed Together Into A Curd Dressing
1/2 cup fresh curds (dahi)
1/2 cup grated carrot
1/2 cup grated cucumber
salt to taste
Other Ingredients
4 tsp red chilli-garlic chutney
8 tbsp finely chopped spring onion greens

- For the roti
- Combine all the ingredients in a deep bowl and knead into soft dough, using enough water.
- Divide the dough into 4 equal portions and roll out each portion of the dough into a 200 mm. (8”) diameter circle using a little rice flour for rolling.
- Cook each roti very lightly on a tava (griddle) and keep aside.

- Heat the oil in a non-stick pan; add the ginger, garlic and onions and sauté on a medium flame till the onions turn translucent.
- Add the tomatoes, turmeric powder, chilli powder and coriander powder, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 4 to 5 minutes, stirring continuously.
- Add the rajma, curds, coriander and salt, mix well and cook on a medium till the mixture dries up, stirring continuously.
- Divide the filling into 4 equal portions and keep aside.

- Place a roti on a clean, dry surface and spread 1 tsp of chilli-garlic chutney evenly over it.
- Place ¼th of the chatpata rajma filling in a row in the centre of the roti and spread ¼th of the curd dressing over it.
- Sprinkle 2 tbsp of spring onion greens over it and roll it up tightly.
- Repeat with the remaining ingredients to make 3 more wraps.
- Wrap a tissue paper around each wrap and serve immediately.

Please help how to make soft rice roti like wheat roti
the chawal ke aate ki roti breaks and becomes very stiff and cannot be made into a wrap. what should be done to ensure that the rotis are soft enough to fold them into wrap.
Wife ko sifarish ki ke yeh wrap banaye. Hamare Chintu aur babli ko yeh bhoat pasand aaye. Such me tasty bane the yeh wrap.
Rajma Wrap.. Really a treat to the stomach.. all the flavours.. intact in the rajma.. it was on a spicy side.. but the curd dressing was just too good.. and balanced the taste.. and the most important it is a gluten free recipe.. loved it..
As chatpata is the rajma stuffing in this recipe, equally spicy are these wraps due to the addition of chilli garlic chutney. The curd dressing makes the stuffing moist while the carrot and cucumber give the necessary crunch. Absolutely filling... One wrap is enough to satiate your tummy during snack time..
