Makes 10 servings
For Chocolate Pudding
28 chocolate cake slices
2 cups milk
1/2 cup sugar
2 1/2 tbsp cornflour
1/2 cup fresh cream
3 tbsp cocoa powder
1 cup chopped dark chocolate
cocoa powder for dusting
To Be Mixed Into Coffee Decoction
1 tsp coffee powder
1/4 cup warm water
For chocolate pudding
- For chocolate pudding
- To make {span class="bold1"}chocolate pudding{/span}, heat milk in a sauce pan, add fresh cream, sugar, corn flour, cocoa powder and chocolate.
- Whisk well till lump free and cook on medium flame for 8 minutes until it thickens slightly. Keep aside to cool slightly.
- Now arrange 14 cake slices in a serving tin and apply half the coffee decoction evenly over it.
- Pour half of the chocolate mixture and spread it evenly.
- Repeat steps 3 and 4 to make one more pudding layer.
- Refrigerate it for about 3 to 4 hours until it is perfectly set.
- Dust with cocoa powder and serve the {span class="bold1"}chocolate pudding{/span} chilled.
