Cocunet Chutni Powder recipe - How to make Cocunet Chutni Powder
Preparation Time: 25Minutes Cooking Time: 30 Minutes Total Time:
2 tsp oil
1/2 cup chana dal (split Bengal gram)
1/2 cup kala chana (brown chick peas)
1/2 cup grated coconut
12 red chillies
1/2 tsp asafoetida (hing)
amla sized tamarind (imli)
salt to taste
few curry leaves (kadi patta)
Method
- Roast dry the bengal gram dhal, black gram dhal and the grated cocunet.
- Fry the red chillies and the asfoetida powder in the 2 tsp oil.
- Mix all the incredietns together and powder fine.
- Add salt.
