  1. Soak dal in water for 5-6 hours, drain the water and grind in the mixer with very little water
  2. make a fine paste
  3. Add the salt, chillies, curry leaves, coriander ,ginger and
  4. mix well.
  5. Heat the oil in a kadhao and deep fry lemon sized batter on medium heat till crisp and golden brown.
  6. Serve hot with chutney.
