Dudhi ki sarki is a vegetable curry recipe with Dudhi or bottle gourd. The Dudhi or ghiya is chopped and then cooked with onion, chillies, tomatoes and enjoyed with rice.
Dudhi ki Sarki recipe - How to make Dudhi ki Sarki
Preparation Time: `7min.. Cooking Time: Total Time:
1 small sized onion
8 small pieces of bottle gourd (doodhi / lauki)
cumin seeds (jeera)
curry leaves (kadi patta)
1 tsp ginger (adrak)
1 tsp garlic (lehsun)
coriander (dhania)
green chillies
salt to taste
2 tsp full of besan (Bengal gram flour)
turmeric powder (haldi) and oil
Method
- Heat oil in a deep pan
- Putchopped onion. gidger garic jeera kadipatte tomatoes kokam greenchilli namak haldi and duddhi in it.
- Cook till 5min.
- Take besan in small bowl n add water. mix well.
- Pour it in above pan.
- Add littel water to make it thin.
- Cooktill15min.
- Garnish with kotmirand sreve with plain rice.
