For those who love semi cooked fruits. and covering with oats batter makes this pakodas more fibrous and filling.
Fruits Pakoda recipe - How to make Fruits Pakoda

Makes 4 serving
1/4 cup sliced apples
1/4 cup sliced pineapple
1/4 cup sliced banana
salt and freshly ground black pepper (kalimirch) powder to taste
For The Batter
1/4 cup crushed quick cooking rolled oats
1/2 cup rice flour (chawal ka atta)
salt to taste
freshly ground black pepper (kalimirch) powder to taste
2 tbsp chopped coriander (dhania)
2 tbsp chopped fenugreek (methi)
water as required
2 tsp hot oil
a pinch baking powder
oil to deep fry
Method
- Method
- Apply salt and pepper to sliced fruits and keep aside.
- Combine all the ingredients for batter and rest it for few minutes. Keep the batter semi thin smooth flow.
- Keep oil to heat.
- Cover each fruit piece with the batter and deep fry it until crispy and lightly pinkish.
- Garnish it with anar dana and serve it with lemon juice and phudina chutney.
