Garlic Daal recipe - How to make Garlic Daal
Preparation Time: Cooking Time: Total Time:
1 cup yellow moong dal (split yellow gram)
2 medium sized tomatoes
1 " piece of ginger (adrak)
5 to 6 cloves of garlic (lehsun)
2 to 3 green chillies
salt to taste
For tempting:
2 tsp oil or ghee
1 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
1/4 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
1/2 tsp chilli powder
1/4 tsp garam masala powder
4 to 5 curry leaves (kadi patta)
coriander (dhania) leaves for garnishing
Method
- Boil daal with tamatoes, chilles, & ginger.
- Then temp it with the ingredients given for tempting.
- Garnish with coriander.
- Serve with white rice.
