Makes 6 servings
1 medium sized cauliflower
3/4 cup plain flour (maida)
1 tbsp cornflour
1 cup finely chopped onions
1 chopped green chillies
1 1/2 tbsp garlic (lehsun) paste
1 1/2 tbsp ginger (adrak) paste
1/4 tsp m.s.g (optional)
2 tbsp soy sauce
2 to 3 tbsp tomato ketchup
2 tbsp oil
salt to taste
finely chopped coriander (dhania)
oil for deep frying
Method
- Method
- Combine plain flour, corn flour, 1 tsp ginger paste, 1 tsp garlic paste and salt in a deep bowl, add water and mix well to make a semi-thick batter.
- Dip the cauliflower florets in the batter and deep fry till golden brown in colour. Keep aside.
- Heat oil in another pan and add the remaining ginger and garlic paste, chopped onions and green chillies and stir-fry.
- Add ajinomoto, soya sauce and tomato ketchup, mix well.
- Add fried cauliflower and mix well.
- Serve immediately garnish with coriander.
