For Iyengar Bakery Style Rava Cake
1 cup fine semolina (rava / sooji)
1/3 cup oil
1/2 cup flavoured curds (dahi)
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/4 cups powdered sugar
1 cup milk
1/2 cup plain flour (maida)
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda

- Whisk well and cover with a lid and keep aside for 20 minutes.

- Pour the batter into a greased and lined tin and bake in a pre-heated oven at 180° c (360°f) for 30 to 35 minutes.
- Remove, demould and cool completely. Cut into equal slices.
