Makes 4 servings
1 bitter gourd , finely chopped
1 tsp oil
1 onion , finely chopped
1 cucumber , finely chopped
1 green chilli , finely chopped
1 1/2 cups curds (dahi)
salt to taste

- Method
- Heat the oil in a pan, add the karela and saute till they become crisp and the colour turns a little black.
- Remove from the flame and keep aside to cool.
- In a bowl, combine the onions, cucumber, chilli and salt along with curds and whisk well.
- Add the fried karela pieces just before serving.
- Serve immediately.
