Makyache Thalipeeth recipe - How to make Makyache Thalipeeth

Makes 8 thalipeeths
1 cup sweet corn kernels (makai ke dane) , coarsely crushed
2 tbsp garlic (lehsun) paste
2 tsp ginger (adrak) paste
1 tbsp cumin seeds (jeera) powder
1 tbsp chopped coriander (dhania)
1 cup rice flour (chawal ka atta)
1 cup besan (bengal gram flour)
salt to taste
1 tbsp oil
oil for cooking
Method
- Method
- Combine all the ingredients in a bowl, add enough water and knead into a soft dough.
- Cover and keep aside for 10 minutes.
- Divide the dough into 8 equal portions and roll them into thin flat thalipeeths.
- Heat a tava and cook each thalipeeth, using little oil, till golden brown from both the sides.
- Serve hot with ghee or coconut chutney.
