Mango Poori recipe - How to make Mango Poori

Ingredients

2 cups whole wheat flour (gehun ka atta)
1/2 cup mango pulp
a pinch salt
a pinch cardamom (elaichi) powder
3 tsp sugar
oil for deep frying

Method
    Method
  1. Add a pinch of salt to the flour and sieve it two times.
  2. Combine the flour, mango pulp, cardamom powder and powdered sugar in a bowl and mix well and knead into a smooth stiff dough adding water if needed.
  3. Cover it with a wet muslin cloth and keep aside for 30 minutes. Knead again and divide the dough into small round balls and roll them into small puris of 4" diameter.
  4. Heat the oil in a kadhai and deep fry the puris till they turn golden brown from all the sides.
  5. Serve hot.
