Meve ki Usal recipe - How to make Meve ki Usal

Makes 4 servings
1 cup cashewnuts (kaju)
1 cup peanuts
10 almonds (badam)
5 walnuts (akhrot)
1/2 cup raisins
8 dried apricots (kummani / jardalu) , deseeded (soaked in I647 for 3 hours)
1 tbsp honey
2 tbsp ghee
1 tsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp ginger (adrak) juice
Method
- Method
- Drain all dry fruits and nuts.
- Heat the ghee in a non-stick kadhai, add the nuts and saute till coated with ghee and pink in colour, sprinkling milk if needed.
- Add the honey, lemon and ginger juice.
- Serve hot or cold.
