So, here is a refreshing Minty Nimbu Pani that you can send to school in a thermos flask, so it will be nice and cool to sip on when the kids feel thirsty and tired. A dash of mint, powdered spices and black salt add more zing to the ever refreshing lemon drink making it all the more appealing to kids. This is sure to quench their thirst! Makes 2 glasses
1/2 cup roughly chopped mint leaves (phudina)
2 tbsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp roasted cumin seeds (jeera) powder
2 tbsp powdered sugar
1/2 tsp black salt (sanchal)
salt to taste
- Method
- Combine the mint leaves and lemon juice in a small mixer and blend to a coarse paste.
- Transfer the paste into a deep bowl, add all the remaining ingredients and 2 cups of chilled water and mix well using a hand blender.
