Paneer Cake recipe - How to make Paneer Cake

Ingredients


To Be Mixed Together For The Poatato Mixture
3 big boiled and mashed potatoes
3 green chillies
1/2 tbsp chilli powder
1/2 tbsp garam masala powder
1 tbsp chopped coriander (dhania) leaves
1/2 tbsp cumin seeds (jeera)
1/2 tsp dried mango powder (amchur)
salt to taste

To Be Blended Into A Green Chutney
100 gms coriander (dhania) leaves
6 to 7 green chillies
1/2 cup chopped onions
2 to 3 tbsp curds (dahi)
salt to taste

Other Ingredients
500 gms sliced paneer (cottage cheese)
butter for greasing

Method
    Method
  1. Preheat an oven to 250° c.
  2. Grease a baking tin with butter and keep aside.
  3. Divide the potato mixture into 2 equal portions and spread one portion of the potato mixture in the bottom of the dish evenly.
  4. Now place a few slices of the paneer as the 2nd layer.
  5. Apply a few spoons of the green chutney on the paneer slices.
  6. Continue making layers of the paneer and green chutney.
  7. The last layer should be with the 2nd portion of the potato mixture and spread evenly.
  8. Apply 1 tbsp of butter on the top layer and bake in the oven at 300°c for 25 minutes or till the top layer turns light brown in colour.
  9. Serve hot.
