Ratabi recipe - How to make Ratabi

Ingredients


1 recipe Sandesh
2 tbsp finely chopped pistachios
a few saffron (kesar) strands
1/4 tsp cardamom (elaichi) powder
2 to 3 drops green food colour

For the garnishing
a few cashewnuts (kaju)

Method
    Method
  1. Mix all the ingredients together to form a smooth paste.
  2. Roll out the sandesh between two sheets of plastic to form a rectangle of 75 mm. x 125 mm. (3" x 5").
  3. Cut into 15 pieces of 25 mm. (1") each.
  4. Garnish each piece with a cashewnut.
