This a calcium and iron rich crunchy salad which would leave a tangy after flavor.
Sesame Greek Salad recipe - How to make Sesame Greek Salad

Makes 4 to 6 servings
To Be Blended Into A Smooth Powder
1/2 tbsp roasted black sesame seeds (kala til)
1/2 tbsp roasted white sesame seeds (til)
20 roasted almonds (badam)
For The Salad
1/2 cup feta cheese cubes
1/2 cup paneer (cottage cheese) cubes
1/2 cup pineapple cubes
1 cucumber cubes
1/2 cup apple cubes
4 roman lettuce
10 halved cherry tomatoes
10 blanched almonds (badam)
1 tbsp raisins (kismis) , soaked
1/4 cup chopped olives
4 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp chopped parsley
1 tsp dry red chilli flakes (paprika)
salt to taste
1/4 cup lemon juice
Other Ingredients
1 tbsp roasted and crushed sesame seeds (til)
Method
- Method
- In a bowl mix pineapple, cucumber, apple and cherry tomatoes.
- Add parsley, roman lettuce , olives, blanched almonds and raisins.
- In a plate spread the sesame seeds mixture.
- Add 1 tsp olive oil and mix well. Roll the feta cheese cubes and paneer cubes in sesame seeds so that the seeds coat the pieces well.
- Add the cheese and paneer cubes to the salad.
- Add olive and lemon juice and toss well.
- Add salt and chilli flakes, toss again.
- Now sprinkle the sesame seeds and almonds powder and mix well.
- Refrigerate for ½ hour and serve cold.
