Simple Cheese Paratha recipe - How to make Simple Cheese Paratha

Preparation Time:    Cooking Time:    Total Time:    Makes 4 parathas

Ingredients

2 to 3 cups plain flour (maida)
1 tbsp curds (dahi)
6 cheese cubes , grated
freshly ground black pepper powder to taste
salt to taste
oil for cooking

Method
    Method
  1. Combine the lain flour and curds, mix well and knead into a soft dough, using very little water. Cover and keep aside for 20 minutes.
  2. Divide the dough into 4 equal portions and keep aside.
  3. Combine the remaining ingredients in a bowl and mix well.
  4. Divide the stuffing into 4 equal portions and keep aside.
  5. Roll out a portion of the dough into a circle of 4” diameter.
  6. Place a portion of the stuffing at the centre and bring the edges together at the centre to seal tightly.
  7. Roll out again into a circle of 6” diameter, using little whole wheat flour.
  8. Heat a tava and cook each paratha, using little oil, till golden brown spots appear on both the sides.
  9. Serve hot.
