Makes 4 parathas
For The Dough
100 gms whole wheat flour (gehun ka atta)
1/2 tsp salt
For The Filling
1/2 cup sweet corn kernels (makai ke dane) , slightly crushed
1 carrot , grated
1/2 cup shredded cabbage
1 boiled potato , mashed
3 green chillies , chopped
1 tsp sesame seeds (til)
1/2 tsp carom seeds (ajwain)
1 tsp chilli powder
salt to taste
1/2 cup chopped coriander (dhania)
1 tsp garam masala
1/2 tsp dried mango powder (amchur)

whole wheat flour (gehun ka atta) for rolling
ghee for cooking

- For the dough
- Combine all the ingredients in a bowl, mix well and knead into a soft dough, using enough water.
- Divide the dough into 4 equal portions and keep aside.

- Heat a non-stick pan, add the corn and saute till the corn is cooked.
- Remove from the flame, cool completely and add the remaining ingredients and mix well.
- Divide the stuffing into 4 equal portions and keep aside.

- Roll out a portion of the dough into a circle of 4” diameter.
- Place a portion of the stuffing at the centre and bring the edges together at the centre to seal tightly.
- Roll out again into a circle of 6” diameter, using little whole wheat flour.
- Heat a tava and cook each paratha, using little oil, till golden brown spots appear on both the sides.
- Repeat the same steps to make 3 more parathas.
- Serve hot with chutney or tea.
