Most of us does not like snake guard recipes. but try this is a very delicious
to eat.
Snakeguard Raita recipe - How to make Snakeguard Raita

1 long snake gourd (padwal)
4 cups curds (dahi)
1 onion
4 crushed green chillies
some curry leaves (kadi patta)
1 a pinch of turmeric powder (haldi)
1 pinch of salt
1/2 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
1/2 tsp mustard seeds ( rai / sarson)
1 tbsp oil
Method
- Peel, wash snakegaurd and cut into roundels.
- Boil in 2 cups of water till tender.
- Take curd in bowl, add salt.
- Put a pan on stove and heat oil.
- Put jeera, rai, curry leaves and onion pieces. after onion turns brown put turmeric powder and boiled snakegaurd pieces. add green chilii paste and add it
- To curd.
- Serve with rice.
