Spiced crispies made of whole wheat and soya flour, ideal for those who have to cut down on fat. This is a lovely snack to be enjoyed while watching your favourite television programme.

Ingredients


3/4 cup whole wheat flour (gehun ka atta)
1/4 cup soya flour
1/4 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
1/2 tsp chilli powder
1/2 tsp coriander (dhania) seed (dhania) powder
2 tbsp oil
salt to taste

Method
    Main procedure
  1. Combine all the ingredients in a bowl till it is a bread crumb like mixture.
  2. Add approx. ¼ cup of water and knead lightly into a dough.
  3. Roll out into a large chapatti approx. ¼ cm. Thick.
  4. Cut into diamond shapes or small puris using a cookie cutter.
  5. Place on a lightly greased microwave safe plate and microwave on high for 4 minutes.
  6. Cool completely and store in air-tight container.
