Makes 3 servings
1 tbsp olive oil
1/2 cup chopped onions
2 tsp chopped garlic (lehsun)
1 tsp chopped green chillies
1/2 cup chopped tomatoes
1/4 cup chopped capsicum
2 cups tomato juice
a pinch of chilli powder
1 tsp basil
1 tsp dried oregano
dash of red wine or black grape juice
salt to taste
2 cups boiled fussilli or penne
For The Garnish
1 tsp dry red chilli flakes (paprika)
175 gms grated processed cheese
Method
- Method
- Heat the oil in a pan, add the onions, garlic and green chillies and saute till the onions turns golden brown.
- Add the tomatoes and capsicum and saut on a medium flame for 2 minutes.
- Add the tomato juice, chilli powder, basil, oregano, wine, and salt, mix well and cook for 3 minutes on a medium flame.
- Add the pasta and mix well and ensure the pasta is well coated in the sauce. Remove from flame.
- Serve hot and garnish with cheese and chilli flakes.
