Ingredients


For The Spicy Sauce
2 tbsp vinegar
1 tbsp tomato ketchup
1 tsp red chilli paste
1/2 tsp sugar

For The Paneer Dumplings
1/2 cup grated low-fat paneer (cottage cheese)
1/4 cup finely chopped and boiled mixed vegetables (carrots , green peas and
french beans)
1 tbsp chopped dill leaves
2 tsp semolina (rava)
2 tsp quick cooking rolled oats
2 tsp finely chopped green chillies
1/4 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp powdered sugar
salt to taste

Other Ingredients
8 thick carrot sticks , 75 mm (3”) long

Method
For the spicy sauce

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a broad non-stick pan and mix well.
  2. Bring to boil, while stirring continuously and keep aside to cool.

For the paneer dumplings

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions and roll out each portion into small round balls.
  2. Steam the balls in a steamer for 5 to 7 minutes.
  3. Cool slightly, pierce each dumpling on a carrot stick and serve immediately with the spicy sauce
