Sweet Spring Onion Dosa recipe - How to make Sweet Spring Onion Dosa

Preparation Time:    Cooking Time:    Total Time:    Makes 4 servings

Ingredients

1 cup rice (chawal) , soaked for 2 hours
1/2 cup freshly grated coconut
3 to 4 red chillies
1 tsp coriander (dhania) seeds
2 tsp tamarind water
1 tbsp grated jaggery (gur)
4 to 5 spring onion whites , finely chopped
salt to taste
oil for cooking

Method
    Method
  1. Combine the rice with coconut,chillies, coriander seeds and tamarind and blend in a mixer into a smooth paste. Keep aside for 8 hours.
  2. Add the jaggery, spring onions and salt, mix well and prepare a batter of puring consistency.
  3. Heat a tava, grease it with little oil and pour a spoon full of batter on it and spread in a circular motion to prepare dosas.
  4. Serve hot with butter.
