Tasty rice croquettes are deep fried and crunchy croquettes made from leftover rice mixed with chopped coriander, chillies and spices.
Tasty Rice Croquettes recipe - How to make Tasty Rice Croquettes
Preparation Time: 6-7 persons Cooking Time: Total Time:
2 cups leftover Rice
2 tbsp chopped spinach (palak)
1 small onion, finely chopped
6 to 7 green chillies, finely chopped
1 small piece of ginger (adrak), grated
1/2 tbsp plain flour (maida)
1 tsp butter
2 to 3 pods of crushed garlic (lehsun)
salt to taste
a pinch of turmeric powder (haldi) to give colour
oil for deep frying
1 to 2 tbsp semolina (rava) for coating the croquettes
Method
- Mix all th above ingrdients lightly.
- If too soggy add some flour,if too dry add a few teaspoons of water.
- Give shape of croquettes.roll in semolina.
- Heat oil in a kadai.deep fry the croquettes on a medium flame till golden brown.
- Serve hot with tamarind sauce,green chutney or all time favourite ketch-up.
