Toovar Dal Pakoda recipe - How to make Toovar Dal Pakoda

Makes 4 serving
2 cups soaked toovar (arhar) dal
1 cup grated carrot
1 cup chopped onions
1 tsp grated ginger (adrak)
3 tsp chopped green chillies
5 to 6 curry leaves (kadi patta)
salt to taste
oil to fry
Method
- Method
- In a blender, combine the dal, ginger, chillies and make a smooth paste.
- Transfer it to the bowl, add remaining ingredients except oil and mix well.
- Heat oil in a pan, drop the batter like pakodas and deep fry in oil.
- Drain on tissue paper.
- Serve with tomato ketchup.
