This is an ayurvedic drink to keep digestion under control especially when we have heavy meals in a party.

Makes 4 glasses
1 cup tulsi (indian basil) leaves
1/2 cup jaggery (gur)
1 tsp dried ginger (soonth) powder
1 tsp fresh ginger (adrak) juice
1 tsp lemon juice
3 cups water
ice cubes to serve

Method
- Method
- Combine the tulsi, jaggery and 1 cup of water and blend in a mixer to a paste.
- Transfer in a deep bowl, add the sonth powder, ginger juice and lemon juice and the remaining water and mix well.
- Sieve the mixture and pour in to the glasses.
- Drop in some ice cubes and top with tulsi leaves and serve chilled.
