A simple but spicy soup cooked "fat free".

White Bean Curd Soup recipe - How to make White Bean Curd Soup

Preparation Time:    Cooking Time:    Total Time:    Makes 4 servings

Ingredients

1 vegetarian seasoning cube
1 cup tofu (bean curd/ soya paneer) or paneer (cottagte cheese) , cut into small cubes
1/2 tsp soy sauce
1/2 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp white pepper powder
2 spring onions , chopped
salt to taste

For The Garnish
1 tsp chopped coriander (dhania)

Method
    Method
  1. Boil 4 cups of water with the seasoning cube.
  2. Add the soya sauce, sugar, pepper powder, spring onions and salt and simmer for 2 to 3 minutes.
  3. Just before serving, add the tofu and simmer for 2 minutes
  4. Serve garnished with coriander.

Tips
  1. Since seasoning cubes already contain salt in excess, you may not need to add any more to this recipe.
  2. Instead of the seasoning cube and water, you can use 4 cups of freshly made vegetables stock.
