  1. Boil the milk in a thick bottom vessel. After five minutes add the pumpkin after squeezing it lightly and continue boiling for 15 minutes or until pumpkin gets cooked.
  2. Add the sugar and boil for a few more minutes. Mix the cardamom and remove from heat. Take out in a serving bowl.
  3. Serve either at room temperature or chilled in the fridge. Sprinkle almond slices on top.

White pumpkin is Ash Gourd and not bottle gourd or lauki.
