I got the idea to make BHINDI DO PYAZA from the recipe of paneer do pyaza . Combination of bhindi with shallot goes very delightful.

Makes 3 to 4 servings
1 cup chopped ladies finger (bhindi)
1 onion , sliced
6 to 7 shallots (madras onions)
1/2 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
1 tsp coriander (dhania) powder
1/2 tsp chilli powder
salt to taste
1 tsp chopped green chillies
1 tsp fennel seeds (saunf) powder
1/2 tsp dried mango powder (amchur)
Method
- Method
- Heat the oil in a pan, add the onions and saute for 2 minutes.
- Add the ladies finger, green chillies and dry spices like turmeric, red chilli powder, coriander powder,salt, saunf powder and amchur powder. Mix all.
- At last add shallot mix again.
- Cover and cook at low heat for 8 to 10 minutes or till bindi cook.
- Serve hot.
