Apple ki Chutney recipe - How to make Apple ki Chutney

Makes 2 cups
1 kg apple , peeled and grated
3 tbsp ghee
salt to taste
500 gms sugar
1 tbsp cinnamon (dalchini) powder
1/2 tbsp nutmeg (jaiphal) powder
3 tbsp lemon juice
2 tbsp grated ginger (adrak)
4 green chillies
1 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
Method
- Method
- Heat the ghee in a kadhai, add the ginger and saute for a minute.
- Add the green chillies and saute for more 30 seconds.
- Add the apple, sugar, salt and turmeric powder and cook till apple is cooked well.
- Add the cinnamon and nutmeg powder and mix well and cook for a minute.
- Add the lemon juice and mix well.
- Remove from the flame and cool.
- Store refrigerated.
