Baby Corn Hara Masala

An extremely quick and simple cooking procedure of sautéing baby corn with a spicy and herby hara masala transforms the mildly-flavoured vegetable into a tongue-tickling delight that you can serve either as a starter or as an accompaniment to the Main Course . Just make sure you serve it hot, to engage its full flavour.

Makes 4 servings
2 cups sliced baby corn
2 tbsp oil
salt to taste
1 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp sugar
To Be Ground Into A Smooth Green Paste (without Using Any Water)
1 1/2 cups chopped coriander (dhania)
1/2 tsp chopped ginger (adrak)
1 tsp chopped garlic (lehsun)
1 tsp chopped green chillies
1 cup chopped onions
1 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
1/2 tsp lemon juice
- Method
- Heat the oil in a broad non-stick pan, add the green paste and sauté on a medium flame for 3 to 4 minutes.
- Add the baby corn, salt and 4 tbsp of water and mix well. Cook on a medium flame for 3 to 4 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
- Remove from the flame, add the lemon juice and sugar and mix well.
- Serve hot.

Quick easy recipe.. with baby corn.. the spice added to this recipe is really nice.. and the green colour is very vibrant.. the lemon and the sugar added completes the dish.. i have loved this..
