Carrot and Cabbage Salad in Orange Dressing
by Tarla Dalal
Crunchy veggies in fruity dressings is the latest fad rocking the salad world! The Carrot and Cabbage Salad in Orange Dressing is one such awesome treat.
Along with cabbage and carrots, this salad uses veggies like capsicum and celery, which have a naturally spicy note. These contrast beautifully with the tangy dressing of orange and curds, which has a dash of pepper to further highlight the sweet and citrusy flavours.
Serve this salad immediately upon tossing, because the crisp and juicy texture of the veggies is very important to the success of this salad. If left for too long, the veggies will get soft and lose their charm.
