Makes 3 servings
For The Salad
1/4 cup orange segments
2 cups kale , torn into pieces
1/4 cup crumbled feta
1/4 cup chopped black seedless dates
1/2 cup sliced apples (unpeeled)
1/4 cup chopped walnuts (akhrot)
1/4 cup chopped almonds (badam)
To Be Mixed Into A Citrus Vinaigrette Dressing
1 1/2 tbsp olive oil
2 tsp balsamic vinegar
1/4 cup orange juice
1 tsp orange rind
1/2 tsp cumin seeds (jeera) powder
salt and freshly ground black pepper (kalimirch) to taste
- Method
- Combine all the ingredients in a deep bowl and toss well.
- Add the dressing and toss well.
- Serve immediately.
