Everybody loves baked beans. It goes well with bread, buns, pastas, and whatever not. Now, let us make the baked beans a bit more special by perking it up with onions, garlic paste, curry powder, etc. The resulting Curried Beans is much more exciting to the palate, and can be served with bread toast to make a satiating snack or even a quick meal!

Makes 4 servings
1 can baked beans
2 tsp oil
1/2 cup sliced onions
1 tsp garlic (lehsun) paste
1 tsp curry powder
1/2 tsp chilli powder
1/4 cup tomato ketchup
salt to taste
For Serving
bread bread toast
Method
- Method
- Heat the oil in a broad non-stick pan, add the onions and sauté on a medium flame for 2 minutes.
- Add the garlic paste, curry powder and chilli powder and sauté on a medium flame for a few more seconds.
- Add the baked beans, tomato ketchup and salt, mix well and cook on a medium flame for another1 to 2 minutes.
- Serve hot with bread toasts.
