Makes 4 servings
1 cup soya granules
1/4 cup green peas
1/2 cup finely chopped onions
1 tbsp ginger-garlic (adrak-lehsun) paste
1 large tomato pureed
1/4 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
1/4 tsp chilli powder
1/4 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
1/4 tsp dried mango powder (amchur)
1/2 tsp coriander (dhania) seeds powder
1 tbsp oil
salt to taste
finely chopped coriander (dhania) for garnishing
Method
- Method
- Boil the soya granules in water, drain and wash with cold water.
- Squeeze out the excess water from the granules and keep aside.
- Heat the oil in a kadhai, add the granules and saute till they turn golden brown.
- Add the onions and saute till the onions turn golden brown.
- Add the ginger-garlic paste and the masalas, mix well and saute for 3 minutes.
- Add the tomatoes and cook till they turn soft.
- Add the little water and saute for 2 minutes.
- Add the salt and green peas and mix well.
- Cook for two minutes or till the peas are cooked.
- Serve hot garnished with coriander.
