French Beans with Sesame Seeds ( Soups and Salads Recipe )

This is a perfect every day salad that is light and healthy and makes your meal times complete. While sliced french beans can be used alone and tossed in with dressing, we’ve used green cucumber and celery to add extra bite and crunch into the salad. Toasted sesame seeds too enhance the taste. We’ve used the tangy vinaigrette dressing in the salad, but you could experiment with other dressing too. Serve this salad immediately!

Makes 4 servings
1 1/2 cups diagonally cut and blanched french beans
3/4 cup green cucumber , cut into big pieces
2 tbsp chopped celery (ajmoda)
2 tbsp vinaigrette dressing
For The Garnish
2 tbsp sesame seeds (til) , toasted
- Method
- Combine all the ingredients, except the sesame seeds, in a bowl and mix well. Refrigerate for at least an hour.
- Just before serving, add the dressing and toss well.
- Sprinkle the sesame seeds evenly over it and serve immediately.
