Green Idli Chaat recipe - How to make Green Idli Chaat

Makes 4 servings
For The Idlis
1 1/2 cups green moong dal , soaked for 4 hours
1 tbsp ginger-garlic (adrak-lehsun) paste
1 tsp green chilli paste
1 tbsp green peas
1/2 tbsp bittergourd peel , pureed
salt to taste
2 tsp chopped coriander (dhania)
2 tsp chopped fenugreek (methi) leaves
Other Ingredients
1 tbsp chopped apple
1 tbsp chopped pineapple
1 tbsp grapes
1 tbsp green chutney
lemon peel chutney
2 tsp black salt (sanchal)
1 tsp cumin seeds (jeera) powder
1 tsp chilli powder
1 tbsp hara chana
2 tsp chopped coriander
2 tsp boiled green peas
3 tsp curds (dahi)

- For the idlis
- Combine all the ingredient in a bowl and mix well till the mixture becomes light and fluffy.
- Pour spoonful of the batter into greased idli moulds and steam in a idli steamer for 7 to 8 minutes or till cooked.
- Cool, unmould and keep aside.

- Place the idlis on a clean dry plate and then place the apple, pineapple, green grapes, green chutney, lemon peel chutney, black salt, cumin seeds powder, red chilli powder, chana, coriander and green peas and spread evenly on top.
- Spread the curds and serve immediately.
