Makes 24 toasts
6 to 8 bread slices
2 tbsp soft butter
2 tsp milk
6 tbsp grated processed cheese
1 chopped onions
1 chopped tomato
2 tbsp cooked corn (makai ke dane) (optional)
1 tsp mustard (rai / sarson) powder
2 green chillies , chopped
salt to taste
tabasco sauce to serve
Method
- Method
- Mix the butter, milk and cheese in a bowl.
- Add the onion, tomato, corn, mustard powder, green chillies and salt, mix well and keep aside.
- Toast the bread slices.
- On one side of each bread slice, spread a little vegetable mixture.
- Place the bread slices below the grill for a few minutes.
- When toasted, cut into pieces and serve hot with tabasco sauce.
