Makes 4 to 5 parathas
For The Stuffing
1 boiled raw banana , skin removed
1 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp coriander (dhania) cumin seeds (jeera) powder
1 tsp chopped green chillies
1 tsp grated ginger (adrak)
1/2 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
1 tsp garam masala
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp dried mango powder (amchur) powder
1 tsp chaat masala
1 tsp lemon juice
salt to taste
For The Dough
1 cup whole wheat flour (gehun ka atta)
1/2 cup plain flour (maida)
2 tsp oil
salt to taste

oil for shallow frying the parathas

- Combine all the ingredients in a deep bowl and mash it thoroughly. Keep aside.

- Combine all the ingredients in a deep bowl and knead into a soft dough using enough water.
- Divide the dough into equal portions and keep aside.

- Roll a portion into puris size and place 2 tsp of stuffing on it and cover from all the sides and make a ball.
- Roll this again to make paratha of 7 inches diameter.
- Shallow fry on hot tawa using oil on a medium flame till it turns pink in colour from both the sides.
- Repeat with the remaining ingredients to make more parathas.
- Serve hot with masala dahi or tomato sauce.
