Makes 1 cup
1 cup onion rings
1 tbsp vinegar or lemon juice
salt to taste
- Method
- Put the onion rings into a bowl of ice-cold water and keep aside for 15-20 minutes. This will make them crisp.
- When ready to serve, drain, put on a kitchen towel and pat dry.
- Add the vinegar and salt and mix gently.
- Serve immediately.
