Mango Delight recipe - How to make Mango Delight

Makes 4 to 5 servings
1 tsp ghee
2 cups mango puree
1/4 cup chopped raisins (kismis)
6 tsp crushed cashews
2 slices chopped pineapple
a few saffron (kesar) strands dissolved in 1 tbsp milk
1 tsp cardamom (elaichi) powder
100 gms grated paneer (cottage cheese)
5 tsp sugar
1 cup milk
100 gms milk powder
ghee for greasing
Method
- Method
- Heat the ghee in a non-stick pan, add the mango puree, mix well and stir for a minute.
- Add the raisins, cashews and pineapple, mix well and stir for a minute.
- Add saffron mixture, cardamom powder, paneer and mix well.
- Add the sugar,milk, milk powder, mix well and cook. while stirring continuously, till it becomes thick and leaves the sides of pan.
- Cool to room temperature.
- Apply little ghee on your palms and make small balls and give desired shape moulds.
- Serve.
