Makes 4 servings
2 broken whole dry kashmiri red chillies
1/2 cup sliced onion rings
2 tsp chopped ginger (adrak)
1 tsp chopped green chillies
1/2 cup chopped tomatoes
1/2 cup sliced capsicum
400 gms paneer (cottagte cheese) cubes
1/4 cup chopped coriander (dhania) leaves
1 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
1 1/2 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
1 tsp garam masala powder
1 1/2 tbsp vinegar
3 tbsp oil
salt as required

- Method
- Heat oil in a kadhai and add cumin seeds.
- When the seeds crackle, add the red chilies and saute for few seconds.
- Add the ginger and onions and saute for 2 minutes.
- Add the red chili powder, turmeric powder and capsicum pieces and cook for a few minutes.
- Add the paneer pieces and toss gently.
- Add the salt, vinegar, tomato pieces, garam masala, mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Serve hot,garnished with coriander.
