Samosa is a popular Indian fried snack recipe which has been made simple and quick to prepare with this samosa recipe. The potato based mixture is stuffed in the maida patties and then fried after sealing the edges in the traditional samosa shapes.

250 gms or 150 grams potatoes
100 gms green peas
2 onions
2 green chillies
6 to 8 curry leaves (kadi patta)
1/2 tsp dried mango powder (amchur)
1/2 tsp chilli powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
1/2 tsp coriander (dhania) powder
3/4 tsp cumin seeds (jeera) powder
1/4 tsp garam masala
1 tsp salt
Grind to a paste:
a handful of coriander (dhania) leaves
handful of mint leaves (phudina)
green chillies
10 to 12 flakes of garlic (lehsun)
1 " piece of ginger (adrak)
6 to 8 curry leaves (kadi patta)
Method
- Heat oil. add hing a pinch. in a vati take out garam masala, corriander pwdr,chilly pwdr, jeera pwdr, haldi.
- Add the above ground green masala to the oil and fry well.
- Then take off from fire and add potatoes (mashed) and return to fire.
- Add amchur pwdr and fry well.
