Spring Onion and Curd Dip

A cool and fresh topping that is perfect for serving with crisp and spicy finger foods. With simple, easily-available ingredients, this dip can also be prepared very easily by just blending together all the ingredients. Keep the spring onion and curd dip refrigerated till you are ready to serve, to retain the fresh flavour and cool feel.

Makes 1.50 cups.
1/2 cup finely chopped spring onions (whites and greens)
1 cup thick curds (dahi)
2 tsp roughly chopped green chillies
2 tsp roughly chopped garlic (lehsun)
1/2 tsp cumin seeds (jeera) powder
salt to taste
For Serving
bread sticks
chips

- Method
- Combine spring onion whites and greens, ½ cup curds, green chillies, garlic and salt, in a mixer and blend till smooth.
- Transfer the mixture into a deep bowl, add the remaining ½ cup of curds and mix well using a whisk.
- Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Serve chilled with bread sticks and chips.

This dip is my fav as the combination of spring onions, curds, garlic and green chillies is just yumm!!! I serve these with crispy chips...
This dip is really good and easy to make. I have tried it several times in parties and it has always been a super hit!! When you make this for your loved ones be ready to share the recipe as all will definately ask for it. This dip is great when served with chips. My all time favourite.
